Cabarete.-  Tthe Beach of Cabarete is the only place in DR where you can get a real Spring Break like in US.    In US the mid semester break has become a large party and get together fro most of the students in any university.  South florida, Cancun, San Padre island and California are the most attractive Spring Breakers area, now here in the Dominican Republic many people are getting in that wave.   Dominican Celebrates Spring Break in the same week of  Easter and passover.

Dominican Republic is a catholic comunity and is that week is the most importante in the complete year.  Many people got to take a break in different ways the mountain( Pico Duarte, jarabacoa city, constanza), beach areas. 

In the state, young people spend almost 1,000 USD or more in a week, partying most of the time.

In Dominican Republic cabarete has become the most popular place for partying in spring break, last year games, bikini contest along side electronic music, reaggeton, and merengue where all over the beach, in front of many restaurant, bars and lounge in the beach side.
